To Brighton, With Love – Holiday Snaps

Hey loves,

I absolutely love seeing pictures of people on holiday so I decided to put this post up. My go-to holiday look is a simple bun. Reason being that maintenance is very minimal and hair is out of your face and you are good to go. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the “BUN” please. Another reason why I like buns is that no matter the weather or situation your hair will more or less always look put together. Unlike other hair styles, using your own real hair, where you can actually end up looking quite ridiculous when there is some wind or rain.

Anyway, I went to Brighton for a day visit and I absolutely loved it. I love the sea air and the sound of the sea gulls. The Brighton Pier is a must go it has a lot of fun rides and the most delicious food/treats. You can also do a bit of shopping but be warned if you go to Brighton during the week the shops close early. The shopaholic in me definitely did not get to experience the full shopping experience I craved. I must not forget the lanes – they are quaint and picturesque, stunning for photos. Brighton definitely holds a special place in my heart and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Good Bye Brighton till we meet again

“I cannot go to school today"
Said little Peggy Ann McKay.
"I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.

My mouth is wet, my throat is dry.
I'm going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
I've counted sixteen chicken pox.

And there's one more - that's seventeen,
And don't you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue,
It might be the instamatic flu.

I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I'm sure that my left leg is broke.
My hip hurts when I move my chin,
My belly button's caving in.

My back is wrenched, my ankle's sprained,
My 'pendix pains each time it rains.
My toes are cold, my toes are numb,

I have a sliver in my thumb.

My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,

I think my hair is falling out.

My elbow's bent, my spine ain't straight,
My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,

There's a hole inside my ear.

I have a hangnail, and my heart is ...
What? What's that? What's that you say?
You say today is .............. Saturday?

G'bye, I'm going out to play!”
